No upload using qBittorrent?

Hi, having issues uploading with qBittorrent. Connection status is full green, I have forwarded to the correct port, double checked the port is open, am using DHT (not sure if this helps). Still, upload is at 0b/s, hasnt moved off there, havent uploaded a single byte since I opened the program. It is very frustrating. Cant anyone help?
Also I am using PrivateInternetAccess as my VPN, but the port is forwarded there.
